Harnessing Generative AI: Smart Tools for Teaching, Learning, Evaluation & Research
In the rapidly transforming educational landscape, Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) stands as a powerful enabler for faculty and researchers. From lesson planning to content creation and personalized assessments to insightful research analysis, Gen AI offers smart and efficient tools that can enhance the quality of education and academic output. However, integrating these tools responsibly requires more than just technical know-how—it requires a firm grounding in ethical practices.
To meet this growing need, the Department of Computer Science, St. Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli, in collaboration with Globethics South Asia Centre, is organizing a five-day international online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) aimed at empowering educators with Gen AI tools for smart teaching, learning, evaluation, and research (TLE&R), while fostering ethical awareness in digital education.
This FDP aims to upskill educators and researchers by introducing them to cutting-edge Generative AI tools that enhance teaching, streamline assessment, and support ethical, impactful research. The programme features hands-on sessions, expert talks, and tool demonstrations to foster innovation and excellence in academia through responsible AI integration.
