Our accreditations
Globethics strives for the highest quality in our organisation. In order to maintain and provide quality education, we are proud to be accredited by the following institutions. We continue to recertify regularly to ensure the most up-to-date accreditation standards for our organization and its provisions.
Accreditations and benchmarking
The British Accreditation Council (BAC) provides a comprehensive quality assurance scheme for independent further and higher education in the UK and abroad. Their accreditation is recognised the world over by students, agents, and government officials as the clearest mark of educational quality in the private sector.
Globethics has achieved BAC accreditation and has been evaluated against a set of internationally recognised quality standards. We have been inspected by BAC-qualified experts who judged our institution against their designed standards.

European Agency for Higher Education and Accreditation (EAHEA) is an independent and international quality assurance, rating, and accreditation agency. EAHEA grants accreditation to educational institutes, vocational institutions, distance learning centres, online courses, corporations, professionals, qualified individuals, instructors, and students, and oversees accreditation standards.
Globethics achieved an audit result of “A” or “very good” by the EAHEA accreditation in 2021 and has been judged against a set of European and global educational standards. Our EAHEA accreditation represents Globethics' commitment to delivering quality that is on par with international standards.

EAHEA has also accredited Globethics' open courses for the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). ECTS is a credit system designed to facilitate the recognition of learning outcomes and student mobility within European higher education institutions. It assigns credit points to courses and programmes based on the workload required for successful completion and provides a standardised framework for transferring and recognising academic credits earned by students across different higher education institutions within Europe.
ECTS accreditation means that Globethics Academy’s open courses are recognised and validated in terms of their quality, content, and alignment with established standards.
Credit Allocation: Each eligible course is assigned a certain number of ECTS credits based on the workload required for successful completion. The workload includes contact hours (lectures, seminars, live sessions), independent study, assignments, examinations, and any other learning activities. Generally, 1 ECTS credit corresponds to 25-30 hours of student work.
Learning Agreements: Before a student undertakes a course at Globethics with the intention of transferring credits to another institution, please contact us to create a "Learning Agreement" that must be approved by Globethics, the home institution, and the student. It is preferable to do this ahead of the Globethics course; however, it is also possible to transfer credits later - under the condition of the home institution.
Quality Assurance: ECTS transfer involves a quality assurance process to ensure that the credits and learning outcomes are comparable across institutions. This process maintains the integrity and standards of education while allowing for flexibility in student mobility.
