Jointly hosted by Globethics and the Knowledge Equity Network, this session will explore how values-driven Higher Education (HE) is creating transformative, equitable impacts on the global stage.

This webinar will examine the vital role of ethics, equity, and institutional identity in advancing knowledge equity across different global contexts. We will showcase how HE and research not only serve to impart knowledge but also foster inclusivity, reach marginalised communities, and promote ethical practices that shape the future of learning.

Key themes will include:

  • The equitable sharing of knowledge through values-driven education and research
  • How ethical education practices impact institutional identity and outreach
  • Real-world examples from higher education institutions making a difference in diverse global contexts

The following Case Vignettes will be presented and discussed by our expert guest speakers:

  • Malaysia: Open and Flexible Distance Education for Migrant Communities

Discover how the Wawasan Open University (WOU) in Malaysia is transforming education through accessible and flexible distance learning programs tailored for migrant communities.
