Lani Anaya Jimenéz (Mexico/Sweden) is the Central America Program Manager for Act Church of Sweden, a co-facilitator for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, and a PhD student at the UN-Mandated University for Peace. With over 13 years of experience in peace and conflict studies, international relations, and sustainable development, Lani is deeply committed to the Youth, Peace, and Security Agenda, the 2030 Agenda, ecumenical and interfaith initiatives, and Disarmament, Demobilization, and Reintegration (DDR) programs for children in armed conflicts.
Aishworya Shrestha (Nepal) is the founder of the NGO Heart of Nepal, with eight years of experience as a social worker, including roles as a wheelchair basketball coach, adult literacy trainer for adult entertainment workers, and researcher. Heart of Nepal empowers Dalit families through holistic programmes in education, livelihood, and leadership. Aishworya was the first prize winner of the Globethics Youth Leadership Award 2024.
Sarah Markiewicz (Australia) is a consultant specialising in interfaith dialogue, peacebuilding, conflict prevention and resolution, freedom of religion or belief, and the prevention of violent extremism. Since April 2021, she has served as a consultant for the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), collaborating with senior management to design and implement initiatives that foster interfaith and intercultural engagement among parliamentarians. Her work promotes peace, inclusion, human rights, and the rule of law, leveraging dialogue as a tool for building understanding and preventing conflict.
