From Waste to Watts: Transforming Energy Consumption with Efficiency is an online event organised in collaboration between Globethics Western Africa Centre - Accra and the Regional Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (RCEES) of the University of Energy and Natural Resources in Sunyani, Ghana. The webinar addresses the critical role of energy efficiency technologies in achieving affordable energy in Ghana. It explores the common causes of energy waste, key technologies for enhancing energy efficiency including case studies from successful energy efficiency projects, the impact of collaborative efforts and innovative solutions, and the importance of policy and regulation in promoting energy efficiency.

Ing. Prof. Samuel Gyamfi is the Head of the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering and Deputy Director of the Regional Center for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (RCEES) at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), Sunyani, Ghana.
He is an expert in the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sector with a wealth of experience from over 15 years of practice.
