On 10 March 2025, Yayasan Dharma Etika Madani (YADEMA), the local Indonesian foundation affiliated with Globethics via the East Asia Pacific Centre, and the Faculty of Philosophy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), marking a significant step forward in fostering ethical education and research collaboration.

Memorandum of Agreement signed between YADEMA and Faculty of Philosophy, UGM.

The agreement was signed by Dicky Sofjan, PhD, Founder of YADEMA and Globethics Vice President, and Prof. Dr. Rr. Siti Murtiningsih, S.S., M.Hum., Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at UGM.

As part of this partnership, YADEMA/Globethics East Asia Centre will share office space with the Faculty’s Institute of Ethics and Applied Philosophy (IEAP) on the fourth floor of the Faculty building. This co-location is expected to enhance collaboration, facilitating joint initiatives in education, research, and academic engagement.

The partnership aims to strengthen ethical discourse by integrating global and regional perspectives, offering programs that cultivate ethical leadership, and providing a platform for interdisciplinary research on applied ethics. Through this cooperation, YADEMA and the Faculty of Philosophy at UGM reaffirm their commitment to placing ethics at the core of academic and societal development.
