María José (Majo) Murcia (Argentina) is an Associate Professor of Strategy and Management Control Systems at IAE Business School, where she also serves as Director of the Full‑Time MBA and Director of the Center for Sustainability and Social Innovation (CESIS)at Universidad Austral. She holds a PhD from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from IAE Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Honours) from the University of Buenos Aires.
A Global Expert in Ethics of Sustainability and Environmental Justice, Majo is also a Visiting Professor at leading universities in Canada, Europe, and Latin America. Her research focuses on the intersection of strategy, sustainability, and social innovation, with particular attention to complex socio‑environmental challenges in Latin America.
