As part of the Congreso Brasileño de Ciberseguridad, the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (PUCPR), the Sociedade Brasileira de Computação (SBC) and Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR), in collaboration with Globethics, is organizing this interactive workshop that will address emerging ethical challenges at the intersection of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. The event combines expert presentations with participatory dynamics, including case analysis and collective development of ethical guidelines.

During the workshop, real-world dilemmas related to surveillance, privacy, decision-making automation, and the responsible use of AI will be discussed, promoting critical reflection and collaboration among professionals in technology, law, ethics, academia, and security. The ultimate goal is to produce a joint document with principles and recommendations for ethical, transparent, and human rights-centered cybersecurity.
