Reinventing Responsible Governance

In an increasingly interconnected and uncertain world, governance systems face unprecedented stress. From the erosion of rule-based world order, to technological upheaval and widening divides and insecurities, today’s governance systems demand more than reform—they demand reinvention. Against this backdrop, Global Ethics Forum 2025 (GEF2025) will convene at a pivotal time, guided by the theme: Reinventing Responsible Governance: Navigating Dilemmas, Power, and Purpose.

This year’s edition will bring together thought leaders, policymakers, activists, technologists, business innovators, young entrepreneurs and activists, and community voices to interrogate the ethics of power, the architecture of decision-making, and the collective responsibility to steward our shared future.

GEF2025 builds upon the insights of its 2024 edition and aims to translate principles into practice through bold, interdisciplinary, multisectoral, and multistakeholder dialogue, networking, and collaboration. GEF aims to offer a solution-oriented platform whose outcomes go beyond statements and recommendations, offering experience and co-creation opportunities for the design and experience of groundbreaking solutions.
