What is the Globethics Emerging Leaders in Ethical AI Governance Fellowship?
Globethics' Emerging Leaders in Ethical AI Governance Fellowship is a competitive international programme designed for early-career professionals working in academia, government, civil society, and the private sector. The fellowship equips participants with the skills, networks, and practical experience needed to advance ethical, inclusive, and values-driven AI governance in diverse societal and interfaith contexts.
Eligibility Criteria for the AI Ethics Fellowship
This fellowship is designed for early-career professionals aged 24–35 from diverse sectors:
Eligible backgrounds include:
- Academia (Master’s, PhD, postdoctoral researchers)
- Government and public sector institutions
- Private sector (AI, tech, ethics, compliance, innovation)
- Civil society and interfaith organisations
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Active engagement in AI ethics, governance, or responsible innovation
- Ability to develop a research, policy, or applied project
- Interest in intercultural or interfaith dialogue
No religious affiliation is required.
What does the AI Governance Fellowship (Phase I) include?
- Accommodation during the Geneva residency (6–10 July 2026)
- Programme fees and training costs covered
- Access to the AI for Good Global Summit
- Mentoring from experts in AI ethics and interfaith governance
- Opportunity to publish or present outputs with external partners
- Membership in a global alumni network
Phase II (Optional – selection-based)
Five top-performing fellows will receive:
- Seed funding for implementation of their project
- Advanced mentorship
- Visibility and presentation opportunities at the Global Ethics Forum (October 2026)
- Exposure to donors, partners, and high-level experts
