In May 2023, Globethics launched the new Southern Africa Centre (Cape Town), marking a step forward in our global engagement plan per the new Strategy 2023-2027. The Southern Africa Centre is hosted by Stadio Holdings, a private higher education institution that brings together the Southern Business School, Embury Institute for Higher Education, LISOF and Prestige Academy with over 30,000 students across nine campuses.
- 9 countries in the sub-region: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
- 25 higher education professionals being trained on Ethics in Higher Education in 2024
- 140 attendees of the 22nd Annual BEN-Africa Conference, sponsored by Globethics, engaged in discourse on ethics in 2023

Meet the team
Dr Carike Noeth has been involved in tertiary education since 2014 and received her PhD from Stellenbosch University in 2017, specialising in the Ethics of Care and the Ethics of Justice as contemporary ethical theories. She is the owner and founder of Full Circle Ethics, working to assist in ethical or moral decision-making through education and training, ethical consulting, or ethical collaboration.
Having held the role of Regional Manager since the Southern Africa Centre launch in 2023, Dr Noeth works in collaboration with institutional partners on projects empowering people in the region for ethical leadership.
Professor Dr Divya Singh is the Chief Academic Officer at Stadio Holdings and formerly served as Vice Principal: of Advisory and Assurance Services at the University of South Africa (UNISA), both higher education institutions that have worked extensively with Globethics both regionally and globally. Prof. Dr Singh currently also serves on the Globethics Board of Foundation, as well as being a Globethics Publications Series Editor.
